No7 LASH 50 EXTREME VOLUME

Price: £7.50
Purchased: Boots

I know the lighting is bad, sorry

Hi guys, back to blogging about lashes for the meantime :) and blogging on the No7's lash 50; I actually only picked up these lashes because I had none and I was due to go out on the day-they were light considering they are made with synthetic hair. Now, I never usually wear synthetic hair lashes; strictly human or mink but desperate times call for desperate measures. This is because I feel like synthetic hair lashes have such a shine to them and they don't blend well with natural lashes but maybe it's just me...anyways, they were quite stiff and not really the usual fluffy/wispy look I would go for but they did the trick; they did add volume which is what they're renowned for so that's good! The band on these lashes are quite thick and I actually quite like that, I think it makes these lashes easy to put on but do I think they're worth £7.50? Definitely not!!! A fiver max.

LETS CHAT: BEST WAYS TO REMOVE PUBIC HAIR

Now, this blog is not going to be about lashes but it is going to be about something new...vagina hair removal lol; I know I cant be the only one that has tried many methods of removing hair from the kitty. So I'm going to give you a rundown of 4 popular methods which I may like or dislike, hope you enjoy reading this as much as I've enjoyed writing it.

1. Waxing-My top method of vagina hair removal is waxing, I was introduced to waxing last year when I stupidly ran to the clinic to tell the doctor I had spots on my vagina and I thought it was herpes; you should have seen my face when she turned around and told me it was just razor bumps and I should find another way of removing my pubic hair lol. So I thought waxing would do the trick, I'd waxed my eyebrows once before and I don't remember it being that bad; boy was I wrong. It hurt like a bitch and because my hair was so strong, not only did my beautician use strip wax; she also had to use hot wax as well which is where the wax actually stiffens on your skin. This is better for coarser hair types, imagine my pain opting for a Hollywood; I honestly wanted to cry but I had to firm it if I wanted my vag to be smooth. The reason waxing is my top method is because although it is highly painful, the results are marvellous; every single hair is removed and it takes about 3/4 weeks before it starts growing back. Also, within time; you will notice your hairs growing back thinner and thinner which makes the process less painful. I live in North West London where prices are pretty decent, I only pay £18.

2. Hair Removal Cream-Now, hair removal cream is pain free; thank God but if you've got very thick pubic hairs like me; it just doesn't do it any justice. No word of a lie, hair removal cream literally removes about 5 hairs a time for me; so you can imagine how time consuming it is for me but I have friends who say hair removal cream is the best thing ever. So if unlike me, you have finer hairs; I would definitely say go for it. It's pain free!!! And, you can get the cream from any beauty supply store store or good supermarket for no more than a tenner #bargain

3. Laser Hair Removal-Although I have used laser hair removal on my face, I have never once used it on my vagina; would I recommend it? NO. It is a hot beam which is pressed onto the surface of your skin to burn hair follicles, the good thing about laser hair removal is eventually; the hair will stop growing back altogether. If you can firm those hot shocks for long enough to remove your pubic hair then by all means, be my guest but I will say this; it is kind of on the pricey side with prices in my local beauty shop ranging from about £65-£75. I would think long and hard about going through with this.

4. Shaving-Shaving is my least favourite method of all, I find it very time consuming and I always find my vagina itching when I'm done; my hair grows back very fast so literally by the next day I can already see the hair growing back which frustrates me more than anything. Unfortunately, when I shave as well; it leaves me bumpy which is never ever a good look but I guess shaving is a quick fix if you don't have time to trek all the way to the beauticians.

I'd really like you guys to comment and tell me what your fave methods are, I'm interested in what other girls go through to keep their kitties clean :)x

ARDELL ACCENT LASHES 318 BLACK

These Ardell lashes are extremely light and very wispy, they are made on a really thin band and are very easy to apply; they are handmade lashes and I think they're really cute. When buying them, they are described as lashes which are not there to give you a new look but just to enhance your existing one, which I think is so true; the accent lashes have a very very natural look especially as the band is quite short and they are only made to be stuck onto the end of your eye; if you wear these no one will even be able to tell that you are wearing lashes. I dont know if thats necessarily a good thing as I personally like my lashes with abit of volume, so if youre like me; these are probably not the lashes for you! However for a day-to-day natural look, these would be perfect. These lashes only get applied onto half of your eye remember, so if youre going to wear them; alot of mascara needs to be applied just so the naked part of your eye can blend well with the part that has the lashes on. I bought these for £3.99 of www.falseeyelashes.co.uk.

CHELSEA BEAUTIQUE 3D MINK LASHES-NO. 23

I've never been so excited to wear a pair of lashes in my life lol, the no. 23's are extremely light on the eye; I had no problem with heaviness which I like. They also came in the cutest packaging, with a little slider so theres no struggling when opening these. They were very fluffy and wispy, better yet 3D! Which are designed to look just as thick and natural as real lashes; the lashes are wisped in length just as described before I bought them. They are stuck onto the band in a unique way to really give it that clumpy cute look, when I first recieved them; I noticed that the band was very sturdy unlike other lashes which I'd used in the past. I feared this would make them hard to stick on, as it may not be flexible but it was actually fine; I would size them up on my eye before I stick them on though. Although these were easy to put on; I did struggle to take them off even though I used ordinary black hair bonding glue but I have come to the conclusion that this is a mink thing as in the past I have worn individual mink eyelashes and it has taken me an eternity to remove! You could easily shower with these lashes on because the band is so strong but I prefer not to, these lashes are made with mink fur which is a trend everyone is on at the moment; they do give the lashes a very natural finish which is something you know I admire. I would wear these lashes on a night out as I found them to be quite glam but I know some people wouldnt mind wearing these on a day-to-day basis but they would be too much for me, as my daytime makeup look (if I'm wearing any makeup at all) is really subtle. These are priced at £25.00 on www.falseeyelashes.co.uk, which I know is a little on the pricy side but they are mink; the quality is great and I can tell I will be able to wear these
forever! The company shipped the eyelashes out to me really quickly aswell, which is always great because I hate waiting.

EYELURE No145

1st of all I would like to apologise for the lighting and poor quality of photos, they looked better before I uploaded them; because of that I'm going to give the most in depth review ever! So today I'm wearing the Eyelure Exaggerate lashes in number 145, on the packaging they are described as being long, full and having curved tips and they aint lying. These lashes are very light to start of with which is something you know I value in every pair of falsies I wear, they are also quite fluffy. However the band is quite thick and black meaning I must stick it as close to my lash line as possible which is quite hard for me to do because I'm such a klutz. I dont think Eyelure use human hair on their lashes meaning they are not natural and because of that they have this weird synthetic shine which I dont like, they look abit plastic to be honest. This is definitely not an everyday eyelash, on a night out you could get away with these though. Personally I prefer lashes with a more natural finish because as I said before, I have small eyes and the problem with extravagant falsies is that they can sometimes make me look like I'm squinting. One thing I will say about these eyelashes is that they sweep upwards which I like.
The packaging is really weird though, when I put my lashes back in the box, they will probably lose their shape.

I got these from Superdrug for £5.35, which I think is quite worth it considering it comes with adhesive but I still prefer to use hair glue.

RED CHERRY #WSP

The Red Cherry #WSP is very light on the eye which is something I love because I have worn eyelashes that are so heavy, they have weighed my eyelids down! Their extremely fluffy and wispy which is great because my eyes are quite small and some eyelashes make me look like I'm squinting. If you're clumsy like me, putting on your falsies can be one of the hardest parts of your make-up routine but the band on these make them so easy to apply, so you'll have no problem with that. Red Cherry lashes are made with 100% human hair which give them such a natural look, the WSP's are a medium length. I trimmed the outer corner of mine just so it could fit on my eye, you could wear these lashes on a regular basis and also on a night out depending on your make-up look. They're such a bargain aswell girls, 1 packet cost £2.49 on eBay!
